Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Software Engineer located in Port Elizabeth. The Full Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex software systems. They will work closely with an agile development team to implement new features and improve existing ones, using their expertise to provide quality code.
Responsibilities
- Actively participates in the ongoing development of the Salesforce Marketing cloud application by serving as a builder/administrator.
- Collaborates with business stakeholders to identify enhancements and new capabilities to meet their business needs within the Salesforce Marketing cloud platform.
- Manages consultant developers to execute new projects, prioritizing their work, answering their questions, and acting as the project manager.
- Manages the Service Now queue of production support tickets for the Salesforce Marketing platform.
- Develop, test and deploy interfaces
- Develop, test and deploy extensions and customizations
- Create dashboards / reports / forms / transactions in the MES product
- After experience gained you will be involved in writing specifications and guiding others to implement
- Configure MES master data
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in at least two programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, or Java.
- Experience with popular front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and RESTful APIs is required.
- Experience with at least one database technology such as SQL, NoSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus.
